Carlton Marsh

The temperature this afternoon reached a barmy 19.2c. 11 Wigeon left north at 13.20hrs (keith Bannister). Still 22 Shoveler, 6 Tufted and Kingfisher. 2 Buzzards were up with a Sparrowhawk and a Kestrel and a skein of Pink Feet flew over at 4.15hrs. Unfortunately I could not see them for the trees. A Black Headed Gull on the wader scrape was wearing a green colour ring, but too distant to see what was on it.
2 Migrant hawkers, Red Admiral and Speckled Wood were flying. There are lots of Harlequin ladybirds flying.
