Wintersett 14.10.17

Back from a bird filled  jaunt around Hungary with @HeatherleaBirding, led expertly by Gerard Gorman and Ian Ford.   Here's the Wintersett Area sightings for today.  I'll do a catch up of other sightings tomorrow.
Up to an unseasonally warm 20 degrees,  with 8/8 but decreasing cloud and a light south westerly.
Anglers CP VisMig 08.30 - 12.00hrs!:  Whooper Swan 2 flew north east.   Goosander 4 north over WRes..
Anglers CP: Siskin 4. 
Cold Hiendley SF: Chiffchaff 2.   Mute Swan 33 here and WRes.
Wintersett Res: Cetti's Warbler  3 - boathouse, north bank and north east bank.   Water Rail 1 boathouse reeds. 
Lepidoptera: Brimstone 1 Pol,ACP,    Comma, 1 NE WRes,   Red Admiral 1 WRes..
55 Birds were ringed this morning, including: 26 Goldfinch,  20 Lesser Redpoll,  2 Siskin.
