Wombwell Ings - Present were 1y Mute Swan, 69 Canada Geese, 2 Shelduck, 119 Wigeon, 23 Teal, 14 Shoveler, 14 Mallard, 1 Little Grebe, 2 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 1 Moorhen, 17 Lapwing, 69 BH Gull, 9 Skylark, 20+ Redwing, 2 Mistle Thrush, 2 Song Thrush, 4 Meadow Pipit, 1 Goldcrest and 2 Redpoll.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2+6y Mute Swan, c200 Canada Geese, 30+ Shoveler, 25+ Teal, 16 Tufted Duck, 8 Gadwall, 8 Pochard, 2 Wigeon, 1 female Goosander, 1 male Goldeneye, 2 Little Grebe, 16 Grey Partridge, 7 Red Legged Partridge, 1 Kestrel, 10 Cormorant, 4 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 8 Coot, 7 Moorhen, 48 Lapwing, 3 Ruff, 32 BH Gull, 1 Kingfisher, c40 Fieldfare and 1 Grey Wagtail.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 4+1y Mute Swan, 17 Tufted Duck, 11 Mallard, 7 Pochard, 7 Shoveler, 4 Gadwall, 3 Teal, 5 Little Grebe, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 179 Coot, 43 BH Gull and 17 Common Gull. Also present were 8 Canada Geese, 2 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 1 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Spotted Redshank, 1 Snipe, 1 Kingfisher and 1 Grey Wagtail.
