The Arctic conditions are now bringing more birds to gardens. Fieldfares were reported from various gardens in the village. My Newtown garden 4, Beech Avenue 1 (Geoff Miller), White Cross Road 2 (Les Corrall), Barnsley Rd 12 (Chris Parkin) and Oulton Drive c50 with a Redwing (Keith Bannister), all feeding on Cotoneaster berries.
6 Stock Doves also visited Les Corrall's garden. Also in my garden 2 Red-legged Partridge and a pair of Bullfinches.
