Higham

Pretty bad conditions today with loads of mainly Fieldfare but also occasional Redwing flying around in various sized flocks. Several Fieldfare in the garden and some looking in a poor state. They stripped the Siberian Crab Apple, moved on to Cotoneaster then finished with apples thrown out for them. Need to buy more apples in the morning! A flock of at least 30 Siskin over the garden with three dropping in to feed. Presumably they have all come over the North Sea this last day or so to escape even worse weather in Europe?
