Cloudy with occasional sunshine. Steady birding with Merlin, presumed male a few times, C Buzzard 5, Kestrel 3. Excellent for Raven with 12+ seen. Golden Plover 3 down with 1 seen, Curlew 6, Lapwing 16 mostly on broomhead moor. Meadow Pipit 3, Skylark 2, 2 singing Mistle Thrush and a pair of Tufted Duck on small pond at well springs, just s of brown edge, viewable from shooting lodge.
