Knot the 9 0'clock news!

A knot flew west over Reddishaw and Thurlstone Moor at 8.49. An apparent second bird flew west there with a Snipe at 10.34 (Dave Pearce).

Old Moor: Two Waxwings were around the Centre at about 9.30 before flying west (Bernard Emson). A Goldeneye on Mere and two Dunlin on Wath Ings.

Bolton Ings: 120 Greylags, 71 Pochard, 2 Goldeneye, Redshank.

Broomhill Flash: Little Egret.

Elsecar Res: 12 Great c Grebe, Kingfisher.
