More Foreign Gulls !!

A first winter Black-headed Gull was seen at Wintersett on 3rd November with a yellow darvic ring with black lettering K627 on its left leg.

This bird was ringed as a pullus on 17th June 2013 at Aizpute, Liepaja region in Latvia.
Details of the metal ring are given as 'Latvia Riga S 8634'.

I don't know about you, but I find it pretty awesome to discover the origins of our wintering gulls - and the age of the internet has made the sharing of details very very quick.
