Flocks of Wood Pigeons were moving south here this morning in line with other sites. Buzzard, Green & Great Spotted Woodpecker, Water Rail, Redwing, Little Owl, Siskin and Redpoll were present. A male and female Goldcrest were amongst a flock of tits ringed this afternoon.
Despite the cold conditions 2 Red Admiral, 1 Small Tortoiseshell and a Comma were feeding on fallen apples. (Chris Parkin)
