Herring Gull - 1022
Great Black-backed Gull - 318
Lesser Black-backed Gull - 7
Massive numbers of Black-headed and Common gulls were also present but went uncounted. The resident Yellow-legged Gull was also present, but time was limited to search for any more as we were a little distracted by the gull below which was on the rocks in front of the hide for a few minutes before it flew out into the roost showing a very uniform upper parts across the whole wing and back and brown primaries which were fringed with a pale edge.
Unfortunately, the light turned poor and we didn't get much more on it other than it having a very 'Iceland Gull' feel to it. One to read up on I think!
