Bolton Ings - Sunday
A mild day, 7c at 08.30 when I started out, cloudy in fact a bit misty but with no wind didn't feel cold at all. Seemed to be more than usual Blackbirds about so decided to count them and reached 29, a few Redwings but still no Fieldfares. A skein of c70 Pink Feet flew north west at 11.45 and a couple of female Goldeneye were on the eastern pool. A Green Sandpiper had a fly round and good numbers of Gadwall and Coot were counted. More Gulls about today and included 44 Commons and a Herring Gull. Finally 3 flocks of c30 Long Tailed Tits were on Warbler Way one of which included a Willow Tit.
