Just back from a successful cruise from Aberdeen to Svalbard with Nigel Goodgame for Wild Wings. Wonderful mammals, cetaceans and birds.
12 - 14 degrees with rain at first. Dry but dull by mid morning with 8/8 cloud and a light easterly.
Anglers CP: Arctic Tern 1 1st summer. Common Tern 4 + 3 WRes.. Swift 400. Oystercatcher 1 large young to north pair. South pair Oystercatchers have lost their young. The Mute Swans nesting on the east bank have young. One very small Canada Goose was killed by a Mute Swan in front of the hide this morning.
