Wintersett + Tree Sparrows 18.05.18

9 - 14 degrees with 4/8 cloud and a south easterly breeze.
Anglers CP: A Cuckoo was calling behind the hide this morning + 1 calling this afternoon in Haw Park.  Common Tern 2 + 1 WRes..   A Curlew was in the back fields.  Oystercatcher with at least 1 young, southern pair.  Teal 1 m.  Little Grebe 1.  Herring Gull 4.
Tree Sparrows: Brilliant news!  Pete Smith ringed the first broods.  60 pulli today, with most pairs having 5 young.  The chicks looked healthy due to the warm sunny weather bringing out the insects. No losses so far.
