Red Kite over Higham
Red Kite that flew over Higham last Sunday morning but added now to provide moult reference in case different birds are seen in the near future. I presume this was a different bird to what Russ Boland had mid-day on the same date?
If the moult was uneven on each wing its likely that its had the lead-moult. A Buzzard over Barrow Tip last week had been shot at and lots of primaries/secondaries missing, unequal on each wing.

The LDV bird was even more tatty Geoff. Could that bird have been experiencing the infamous 'Peak District Moult'?
