Carlton Marsh

Iceland Gull on the wader scrape at 11.30hrs and still here when we left at 12.30hrs with 22 Herring Gulls, 48 LBB Gulls and c200 B.H. Gulls. Also here 2 Willow Tits amongst a group titmice. On the main marsh, 2 Kingfishers, a new brood of Gadwall (2) and a new brood of Moorhen (4).

Insects included Silver Y Moth, Banded Demoiselle, Emperor and 3 Brown Hawkers. The Sawfly Tenthredo scrophulariae was feeding on Figwort.
