Wombwell Ings - Present were 27 Greylag, 6 Canada Geese, 80 Mallard, 3 Gadwall, 2 Teal, 55 Little Egret, 17 Grey Heron, 2 Coot, 1+4y Moorhen, 17 Lapwing, 3 Black Tailed Godwit, 3 Snipe, 1 Greenshank, 68 BH Gull, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Sedge Warbler, 3 Reed Bunting and 1 Yellowhammer. In Broomhill Park were 9 Mistle Thrush and 1 singing Chiffchaff.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2+4y Mute Swan, 46 Canada Geese, 1 Greylag, 24 Mallard, 7+9y Tufted Duck, 7 Gadwall, 1+10y Shoveler, 1 Pochard, 23 Little Grebe, 5 Cormorant, 3 Little Egret, 1 Barn Owl, 215 Coot, 8 Moorhen, 14 Lapwing, 6 Snipe, 3 Common Sandpiper, 2 Oystercatcher, 26 BH Gull and 1 Yellowhammer.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 1 Mute Swan, 131 Greylag, 4 Canada Geese, 31 Gadwall, 16 Mallard, 12 Pochard, 11+7y Tufted Duck, 4 Cormorant, 3 Little Egret, 2 Grey Heron, 7 Little Grebe, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 117 Coot, 1+2y Moorhen and 4 BH Gull. Also present were 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Common Tern, 1 Jay,1 Grey Wagtail and 30+ Goldfinch.
