15 - 26 degrees with sun and variable cloud and a south easterly breeze.
Anglers CP: Shoveler 2. Yellow-legged Gull 1 adult. A Red Kite flew ovr Crofton towards ACP;
Wintersett Res: Canada Goose 17. 8 Black-tailed Godwit flew over , then left west at 14.30hrs.
Odonata: A Black Tailed Skimmer was in the Willow Wood WRes.. 2 Emerald Damselfies were on the Dispoasal Point. 4 Emeperors and lots of Ruddy Darters were on Moorhouse Lane Pond.
Lepidoptera: 3 Small Skippers were on the Disposal Point + 10 on ML Pond. A Common Blue was on the Disposal Point. A Painted Lady and a Brown Argus were at MLPond. A Purple Hairstreak was seen at Pits Wood.
82 Birds were ringed: Highlights were - 18 Chiffchaff 15 Willow Warbler 11 Blackcap 4 Whitethroat 3 Lesser Whitethroat 5 Reed Warbler and 2 Garden Warbler.
