The only report for today was from Chris Parkin. Rain cut short his visit, but he managed 12 species of butterfly, which included 2 Red Admiral, 12 Small Tortoiseshell, 9 Comma, 8 Large White and 9 Gatekeeper. Two beetles - Black and Yellow Longhorn and Donacia vulgaris, the latter is new to this site. Also 24 spot Ladybird, Yellow Shell and 3 Shaded Broad Bar moths.
Brown Hawker and Banded Demoiselle were flying and a Stoat was on the embankment.
