Booming mad?

Despite the extremely heavy flurries of snow this morning the Bittern was 'booming' loud from the Reedbeds. Great news of course. Other birds at Old Moor included 40 Golden Plovers on the Field Pool, the first Oystercatcher of the year at The Mere where there was also a Redshank, an adult LBB Gull and a Common Gull. A few Bramblings were under the car park feeders.
