Great hours watch from 15.45. Highlight was an Osprey which appeared from Midhope Moor around 16.06 and slowly moved over western edge before heading north. Just before this a Goshawk with missing primaries agitated many birds as it flew over southern edge heading towards Midhopestones. Also Peregrine, 1-2 Buzzards, 1-2 Sparrowhawk and Kestrel too. The Whooper Swan is still present and appears in good health. The Oystercatcher pair was joined by another single plus 2 Grey Wagtail, 1-2 Chiffchaff, c25 Curlew in area, 3 Little Grebe and a chipping Snipe in the fields below the res.
