Wintersett Res:
10 Black-necked Grebes! Common Tern 2. Cuckoo, 1 male called from the south east corner.
A male and female Garganey were off the south west bank, hiding in the reeds most of the time.
Goldeneye 2 females. Greylag Goose 3.
A total of 5 male Sedge Warblers in the area: Wintersett Res. 1 west bank, 2 west bank clump, 1 male on north bank, also 1 male on east bank Anglers CP.
Whitethroat -7 males were in the area.
Anglers CP:
7 Little Gulls, (6 adults + 1 2nd summer) were present this morning. Shoveler 1 male.
A Brambling called several time in trees in the car park.
Lepidoptera:
The first Holly Blue of the year was seen on the edge of the Willow Wood, WRes..
