Did that gull sound foreign?

A Darvic-ringed adult Black-headed Gull (J3LE) was present at Worsbrough reservoir yesterday. I emailed the ringer directly and got a reply within a few hours with details of this bird. It was ringed as an adult male (3cy+) on 30/05/2012 at Treschows Bro, Oslo, Norway. All resightings of this bird were from the Oslo area, with the last reported sighting being 29/06/2013, until my sighting yesterday. A total of 531 days since it was ringed and 1030km from the ringing site.

Just submitted details for one seen at Wintersett on 3rd Nov - a first winter BH Gull with K627 black on yellow ring. Will put details on here when it comes back, seems it may be Danish.
