The Edge

Broomhill Flash mid/late  AM- What a glorious day to finally be back and birdwatching. Present were 1 Little Grebe, 4 Cormorant, 12 Mute Swan, 7 Canada Geese, 62 Gadwall, 55 Teal, 8 Tufted Duck, 7 Shoveler, 5 Mallard, 5 Wigeon, 28 BH Gull, 2 Common Gull, 70+ Lapwing, 60+ Golden Plover( in back field), 4+ Snipe, 2 Redshank, 1 Black Tailed Godwit, 1 Sparrowhawk, 12 Grey Partridge, 1 Mistle Thrush and a flock of 10+ Redwing and Fieldfare in the car park.

Bolton Ingsearly PM- Present were 8 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 4 Mute Swan, 40 Canada Geese,2 Greylag, c60 Teal, 49 Gadwall, 25 Tufted Duck, 25 Shoveler, 4m+2f Goosander, 5 Mallard, 4 Pochard, 4 Wigeon, 2f Goldeneye,  25 Lapwing, 6+ Snipe, 3 Redshank, 33 BH Gull, 7 Common Gull, 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, 5+ Jay and c50 Rook over.
