Another decent afternoon despite the odd shower ..
Results were;
Common buzzard 5, Kestrel 2, Sparrowhawk 2, Merlin 1- female/imm seen a couple of times sunning itself on one of the dry stone walls, Crossbill 11, Fieldfare 15 +c45, Mistle thrush 2, Redwing 1, Chiffchaff 1 - brief snippets of song heard, Raven 1, Jay 1, Snipe - at least 2 birds chippering, Curlew c15, Lapwing c30, Oystercatcher 2, Red-legged partridge 1 - perched on dry stone wall and calling , Canada geese 5, Goldeneye drake 1 - seen on Midhope Res ..
