Adwick Wet Wet Wet Lands

A great deal of yesterdays rain was being held on Adwick Washlands this morning at 10.30am. Streams and ditches overflowing
There were 6 Avocet at the East Side main scrape (too far away for this "point & press", at least 14 Redshank, 26 Wigeon, 12 Teal, 6, Gadwall, 1 Ringed Plover, 2 Shelduck, 6 Shoveler, 6 Reed Bunting, 4 Little Grebe, 22 Mallard, 1 Sparrow Hawk, 4 Pied wag, 2 Linnet and 1 Treecreeper



 


This is a snap shot at the Dearne at Bolton on Dearne Bridge at 12:00.

I have not seen this much water in the Dearne since early Jan
