Wintersett Crossbills 21.03.14

10 Common Crossbills flew over Anglers CP at 06.50hrs.   We dropped on them late morning on Haw Park Lane. Although they have been around all winter we had the closest  views of a male and six females in trees near the small, hidden pond opposite the wood at the top of the hill.  One female was very pale grey.   Paul Meredith took these great shots.
