Ice ice baby!

An Iceland Gull (probably 2nd-winter) was on the Wader Scrape this evening until about 18.15 when it was seen-off by 'the Lesser's' and flew towards Bolton (Bamf). A rare bird down here nowadays. At least one Bittern was also seen and heard 'booming'.

The 18 Whooper Swans were still on Wombwell Ings this evening. Photos - Keith Pickering
