Visit to Old Moor late afternoon - highlights: Bittern Reedbeds, 5 Goosanders Wader Scrape, Peregrine eating a Black-headed Gull Mere, Med' Gull adult Mere. Around 80 Pink-feet were seen passing over this morning.
Evening check on Wombwell Ings where additional to Alan's post were 18 Whoopers (presumably from Edderthorpe although large numbers have passed through the County today) and 2 Sand Martins.
Three Two-barred Crossbills (two males) still at Broomhead today (per pager).
