7°C, grey and damp. Very wet underfoot after the heavy downpours last night. Pretty quiet this morning.
Brian Lee alerted us to an Osprey which had flown low over his house at Royston. It then circled up high east into the clag at 11.40hrs. We hurried to the nearest high view point on Haw Park Lane but, unfortunately, were unable to pick it up.
Wintersett Res: Shoveler 5 and Wigeon 1 male.
Anglers CP: The adult Yellow-legged and Lesser Black-backed Gull were on the rocks. Sand Martin 1 north. Oystercatcher 4, Snipe 2 and Grey Partridge 2 in back field.
Disposal Point: Green Woodpecker 1 male.
Haw Park Wood: Nuthatch 1at Blue Bridge and Goldcrest 2 male.
