Wombwell Ings mid AM- Present were 3 Grey Heron, 1 Cormorant, 2a+2j Mute Swan, 64 Canada Geese, 21 Greylag, 1 Pink Footed Goose, 4 Shelduck, 120+ Wigeon, 29 Tufted Duck, 26 Mallard, 17 Teal, 15 Gadwall, 9 Pochard, 5m+3f Shoveler, 66 BH Gull, 25 Lapwing, 5 Redshank, 15 Sand Martin, 6 Skylark, 2 singing Chiffchaff, 1 Red Legged Partridge and 1 Song Thrush.
Bolton Ings late AM/early PM-On the open water were 6 Little Grebe, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Cormorant, 2 Mute Swan, 30 Tufted Duck, 8 Pochard, 6 Mallard, 2 Gadwall, 2f Goldeneye, c500 BH Gull and 2 Common Gull. Also present were 11 Canada Geese, 5 Greylag, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kingfisher and 5 Chiffchaff(TPT).
Broomhill Flash, early/mid PM- Noted were 3 Little Grebe, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Mute Swan, 15 Canada Geese, 33 Wigeon, 16 Tufted Duck, 7 Gadwall, 6 Mallard, 2m+f Shoveler, 2 Pochard and c250 BH Gull.
