Carlton Marsh

Today 4 pairs of Tufted Duck, 5 pairs of Teal, 11 Canada Geese, 2 Greylag Geese, Water Rail, 2 Green Woodpecker, 2 Great Spot Woodpecker, 8 Jays again, Kingfisher, 2 Buzzard and 2 Little Owl were present. 

A female Peregrine flew north over the hide at 16.08hrs. Thanks to Geoff Miller, who phoned to say it had just flown over his home in Cudworth and was heading towards the reserve.
