The following were singing or holding breeding territories at Cliff Wood, Langsett today - Moorhen (1), Woodpigeon (2), Green Woodpecker (1), Great Spotted Woodpecker (1), Jay (1), Jackdaw (3), Blue Tit (5), Great Tit (2), Willow Warbler (2), Nuthatch (1), Treecreeper (2), Wren (4), Blackbird (1), Mistle Thrush (1), Robin (5), Pied Flycatcher (1), Chaffinch (4) and Siskin (1).
Mammals - probably the most interesting thing today was a Water Vole on the River Little Don.
Midhopestones - 1 immature/female Merlin harassed by Jackdaws.
