Anglers CP: A Whimbrel was on an island very early doors. The drake Garganey is here for the 3rd day. 2 Dunlin flew over and left west at 08.47hrs. Sedge Warbler 1♂ + 4♂ Wres, Wheatear 1 ♀, Teal 1 ♂, Oystercatcher 6, Shoveler 2 + 1 WRes.. The first 3 Canada Goslings have hatched.
The usual Yellow-legged Gull adult and Lesser Black-backed Gull adult were on the shallows this morning.
Wintersett Res: Common Sandpiper 1, Lesser Whitethroat 1♂ and Common Tern 5. There are now 3 broods of Mallard ducklings . A Wheatear was reported at Cold Hiendley Res this morning.
