Carlton Marsh

On the wader scrape today 21 LBB and 180 Herring Gulls, 2 Lapwings, 16 House Martins collecting mud for their urban nests and a new singing Sedge Warbler. Elsewhere Buzzard, Great Spot Woodpecker, 5 Mistle Thrush and Cuckoo singing.

Insects included Orange-tip male, 5 Small White, Small Tortoiseshell and Large Red Damselfly.
