Carlton Marsh

Keith found a fresh dead Great Spotted Woodpecker near the hide which had gone by the time I arrived.  2 Sparrowhawks were chasing Redwings and a Buzzard was harassing about 400 Wood Pigeons.  A Little Owl was well concealed from the wind and a Water Rail called from the southern end of the marsh.
