minor update

Old Moor: 20+ Goosander, 15 Snipe (Field Pool), 2+ Brambling.

A belated report from Saturday of a 'ringtail' Hen Harrier over Sandhill Golf Course.

John, Jim Plant reported a probable 'Ringtail' on Saturday at 12 noon as he drove up Shaw Lane Carlton (not far from our reserve)heading towards Royston. He couldn't stop because of traffic behind him on this busy narrow lane. I don't know the timing of your bird, but it would be a big coincidence not to be the same bird!

apparently it was seen at 15.10, circling over fields between Little Houghton and Billingley, then headed off over Middlecliffe. Who knows?
