Pugneys

A very wet and sludgy tramp round this morning. Odd that there were so many midges about.

Had a great view of a Jay for 15 mins, it was 30m infront of the hide on the bank, wrestling with what looked like a peanut in its shell.
Also 60 Mallard,
30 Tufted Duck,
16 Cormorant,
20 Pochard,
60 Lapwing,
2 Mute Swan,
8 LBB Gulls,
1 Heron,
6 GC Grebe,
c100 BH Gulls,
the odd robin & blue tit

After all that a well earned special haddock from the W Whaler just down the road

Just for the record;- Pugneys CP is not in the Barnsley recording area, but thanks for the news all the same.
