Bittern was flushed from the willow wood on the top res (first this winter). A steady westward movement of large gulls mid afternoon revealed GBBGull 77 and a first-winter
Glaucous Gull. The top res gull roost in the evening held;- GBBGull 226, LBBGull 16, Herring Gull 620 and two first-winter
Yellow-legged Gulls
