Wintersett

Egyptian Goose 3, Scaup 2 drakes, Smew 1 drake all top res, Long-tailed Duck 1 female on country park. Ten Whooper Swans were on the top res late afternoon (presumably those reported from Ingbirchworth earlier). The evening gull roost was split between both lakes tonight and totals are;- GBBGull 310, Herring Gull 480, LBBGull 20, Common Gull 1950. No sign of the drake American Wigeon and a couple hundred Wigeon are also missing - presumably they are feeding somewhere else close by, might be worth checking any floodwater you come across.
