Carlton Marsh

New in today Lesser Whitethroat beating our previous record in 2009 by 1 day. L. B.B Gull 2 + 2 north, and a steady passage of Swallows and Sand Martins. Also present 2 Willow Tit, 2 Coal Tit, Buzzard, Little Owl and Brimstone and Comma butterfly.

Tony Guest sent me this photo. It was when we went to Humberston around Easter time about 25 years ago. We saw practically nothing until a White-tailed Eagle flew over the caravan park, making it a memorable weekend. It was later accepted by British Birds.

Me, Geoff Miller, Tony Guest
