Wintersett - Black and Blue 24.04.14

Very misty start 8°, up to 15°C and sunny by 09.00hrs. 
Wintersett Res:  A summer plumage BLACK TERN  put on a good display at 11.00hrs and was still around late afternoon.  Common Tern 2, Great Black-backed Gull 2 NW,  Pochard 1 male, Shoveler 4 male and 1 female,  2 broods Mallard 9 vs + 11 and Kingfisher 1.  Singing males: Grasshopper Warbler 2, Cetti's Warbler 1, Garden Warbler 1 + 1 ACP and Reed Warbler 2ACP.
Anglers CP: Common Sandpiper 2, Snipe 4,  White Wagtail , Yellow Wagtail 1,  Shelduck 2, Teal 1male and 1 female,  Goldeneye 1 adult male and 1 female, Green Woodpecker 1 male and Water Rail 1.
Haw Park Wood:  Siskin 1  
Insects:  Bee-fly 1 WRes., and the 1st  HOLLY  BLUE  ACP.
