Another goodNight

The immature Night Heron turned up again this evening dropping onto Wath Ings at 20.40 and remaining there until 21.30 when it flew, eventually dropping on Knoll Beck and then returning over the Willow Pool towards Reedbed five at c22.00. It was out in the open whilst on Wath and although it was right at the far (eastern) end I did manage to grab a couple of record shots (below). It appears to be a second-summer.

Also today: 15 Grey Herons, Bittern, 10 Oystercatchers, Greenshank, Green Sandpiper Black-t Godwit.
