Broomhill Flash mid AM- Present were 12 Little Grebe, 2 Mute Swan, 82 Canada Geese, 1 Greylag, 7 Tufted Duck(+broods 9,6,4,4,2), 2 Gadwall(+broods 11,6), 3 Mallard, 1f Shoveler, 16 Lapwing, 1 Redshank, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Kestrel and 1 and 1 Red Legged Partridge.
Bolton Ings late AM- Singing males were 4 Chiffchaff, 3 Blackcap and 3 Whitethroat. On the water were 10+ Little Grebe, 3adult Great Crested Grebe+ 3 young , 8 Cormorant, 2 adult Mute Swan + 2 cygnets, 36 Canada Geese, 11 Greylag, 30 Tufted Ducks(+broods17, 8,7,7,6,5,3), 4 Gadwall (+broods 10,7), 4 Pochard and 1 Shoveler. Also present 1 Grey Heron, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Redshank, 1 LBB Gull, 2adult+2 young Common Tern and 1 Kingfisher.
