Edderthorpe, Sunday morning

Highlight from this morning was a cracking red adult Bar-tailed Godwit which came in at 07.40 for 15 minutes before leaving north-west up the valley with 2 Curlew. A Whimbrel went over calling at 07.05. On the marsh are;- Ringed Plover 11, Dunlin 6, Common Sand 3, LRP 1, Shelduck 6 juveniles and a Common Tern. After last nights storm not much visible mud remains, although there are still large areas of short vegetation covered mud and its still looking attractive to migrating waders (hopefully).
