Carlton Marsh

A Greenshank was calling in the mist at 09.45hrs and c50 Whooper Swans flew over the Belle Green area of Cudworth at 14.55hrs. (Keith Bannister)
They were picked up heading north from Carlton Marsh moments later. (Rod Heeley) and over Rabbit Ings. (Mick Birkinshaw)

There are are 45 on the photo, but some were probably missed off.

A male Brimstone was also airborne as the temperature increased slightly.

Looks like this flock came from Broomhill, over Carlton Marsh and then on to Wintersett in about 20 minutes.
