Pied Flycatchers must have arrived overnight. I spent over two hours in Cliff Wood and not a peep of one yesterday.
Another good day at Cliff Wood. Watch out Old Moor we're after your 'Mecca' title.

I thought as much Martin. I was on the hunt for your LSW from yesterday. Which part of the wood was it in? It was difficult to hear much over the singing Nuthatches!

Take the footpath that runs towards Langsett Hill. About two thirds of the way down the footpath and approx level with the last Filter Bed there is a half fallen shiny barked tree leaning towards the Little Don. It was on that.
