Carlton Marsh

Today's highlights were Buzzard, Little Owl and a pair of Grey Wagtails feeding a second brood in the nest.

2 freshly emerged Ringlets were on the wing with about 6 Meadow Browns and 4 Large Skippers. The Reed Warbler I reported the other day as being the oldest on record here wasn't correct. I am afraid I overlooked this one.

Reed Warbler K702016   4 = Male breeding  21/7/96    was re-trapped on 15/5/05     8yrs 298 days making it at least 10 years old.
