Wombwell Ings mid AM- Present were 5 Grey Heron 3 Mute Swan, 2a+6y Shelduck, 6 Teal, 3a+5y Mallard, 3 Shoveler, 2 Tufted Duck, 33 Lapwing, 1 Little Ringed Plover, 2 Kestrel, 2 Song Thrush, 2 Linnet, 2 Reed Bunting , 2 Pied Wagtail, 1 Willow Warbler and 1 Whitethroat.
Broomhill Flash late AM- Noted were 5 Little Grebe, 1 juv Great Crested Grebe, 1 Black Necked Grebe, 1 Mute Swan + 3 cygnets, 31 Canada Geese, 10a+4y Tufted Duck, 7a+26y Gadwall, 1 Mallard, 1f Pochard, 1 Shoveler and 1 Barn Owl( top box
Clegg's Meadow).
TPT- Singing males 4 Blackcap,2 Chiffchaff, 2 Whitethroat and 1 Willow Warbler.
Bolton Ings late AM/early PM-On the open water were 5 Little Grebe, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 45 Gadwall, 7 Tufted Duck, 3 Pochard, 2 Mallard and 81 juv BH Gull. Also present were 1 Grey Heron, 1 Cormorant, 16 Canada Geese, 9 Greylag, 3 Oystercatcher, 1 Kestrel, 1 Common Tern, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Kingfisher and 2 Bullfinch.
