Double blog after latest successful jaunt. This time to Sussex for Short-toed Eagle and, at last, my very first wild Turtle Dove, which was just as exciting.

Anglers CP: The regular 1st summer Little Gull was in. Oystercatcher 4 adults + 2 young, Lapwing 2 young, Common Tern 6, Goldeneye 1m Tufted Duck 53. Pochard 2 m + 1 f,
Odonata: Brown Hawker 1 WRes.

Anglers CP: Common Gull 1 1st Summer. Little Gull 1 1st Summer. The regular adult Yellow-legged Gull came in briefly at 14.45hrs, then flew NW. Lapwing 2y. Oystercatcher 5 adults + 2 y. Common Tern 4 adults, and the youngster, that fell off the raft on the 13th June, has survived on an island and is now large!
