Sub-urban Red-legged Partridge - Cudworth
A pair of Red-legged Partridges were seen regularly during the last winter and spring on the Newtown estate. Today the female appeared in one of my neighbour's garden with 4 young.

when I lived on White Cross Avenue I used to see them walk from Carr Lane into the grass paddock behind Tom Silverwood's house.
